Professional washing – excellent results or what determines the quality of washing_

Professional detergents + individual washing programs.

Professionals know that laundries use professional chemicals. But many laundries today are opened by people who wanted to invest in the laundry business and knew nothing about it before. Owners are not always able to select a team with experience. In this case, difficulties may arise already at the stage of selecting equipment, not to mention the coordinated work of the entire laundry in the future. Or another story - a small hotel decided to wash the clothes itself. We bought equipment for a mini-laundry (okay, if not household equipment) and started doing laundry. After some time, we turned to the equipment sellers:

– “Your washing machines don’t wash anything!”
– “What do you wash with?”
– “Very good powders!” – and then follows the traditional list of Ariel, Tide, Vanish, ACE. This refers to household chemicals.
Let’s not belittle the merits of the above-mentioned products. They are really good. But for home use. In a commercial laundry, we encounter linen with more complex and varied stains than in everyday life. And Vanish is too weak for this, and it doesn’t work for many specific stains (for example, it is not suitable for restaurant linen).

Reasonable use of good professional chemicals allows not only to optimize the cost of washing kg of linen, but also to increase the service life of equipment to 30 years, and linen to 5 years.

Professional powders or gels are used as the main component.
High-quality boosters are also used in professional washing systems. Such a system allows you to wash out the heaviest stains, such as stains from tomatoes, sauces, soot, grill, blood, etc. And here we are not talking about stains that have formed on fabric that was washed after 1-2 hours, but about stains that are a week or even a month old! At the same time, the average percentage of rewashed laundry can be from 0.5% to 2.5%!!!

Additional treatment with neutralizers for effective removal of chemicals from the surface of the fabric allows to reduce the number of rinsing of linen to 2. Professional conditioners protect the fabric from premature destruction, providing unique freshness and long-awaited softness of fabrics.
And you save: water up to 20%, electricity up to 5-10%, motor resource of washing machines and increase the production capacity of the laundry up to 5-15%.

If we are talking about washing in hard water, then it is necessary to use water softeners, for example, sodium tripolyphosphate, because Repeated washing in hard water over time deteriorates the condition of the fabric itself and, as a result, the quality of washing. Washing new clothes is easy and pleasant because the fabric fibers are in perfect condition and the physical-chemical bond between dirt and fabric fibers is low. When washed repeatedly in hard water, the fabric gradually breaks down, becoming covered with a sediment of poorly soluble calcium, magnesium or iron salts. Dirt is fixed in porous inlays. The physico-chemical connection between dirt and fabric fibers is growing exponentially, making fabric more and more difficult to wash efficiently. If you have soft water, then you have already saved up to 20-25% on detergents.

A good specialist will select detergents for washing based on your financial capabilities and wishes, the condition of the laundry, equipment and water hardness.

Let's go back to the beginning of our article. So what does the quality of washing depend on: machines or chemicals? The astute reader has already realized that chemistry is of great importance.

What about the machines?
This is a question about washing control. Washing is controlled by a microprocessor. There are two options for microprocessor control: a standard set of factory programs - from 5 to 10 or a freely programmable microprocessor up to 99 programs. The
standard set of programs (5-10) will not allow you to optimize the washing programs. As a rule, the basic programs are washing with boiling at 90 ° C for white cotton linen, washing at 60 ° C, 40 ° C, 30 ° C, additional rinsing and variations within these programs. It is impossible to change these programs. Therefore, it will not be possible to influence the consumption of detergents, electricity and water.

But for small volumes of washing of the same type of laundry such control is quite acceptable. Standard microprocessors are installed in machines ASKO (Sweden), AIRON (Italy) - models WD8, DA8, HT series and DANUBE (France) - models WD8, DA8.

Preferably, of course, a freely programmable microprocessor. For example, industrial washing machines produced by DANUBE - WED, GF, CS, ASEP, Medicale series, have a microprocessor with standard 18 programs + the ability to write another 84 programs. More than profitable.
Such microprocessors allow you to create your own washing programs, taking into account the specifics and degree of contamination of the laundry and its composition. Freely programmable microprocessors are especially relevant for washing clothes with complex stains (restaurant linen, linen from food and industrial enterprises, hospitals, etc.). Sellers of professional chemicals will select the washing programs necessary specifically for your laundry.
By installing an automatic detergent dispenser and programming the microprocessor with a number of necessary programs, the laundry owner solves several important issues. Operating such a machine does not require highly qualified personnel (you just need to press the desired button); the problem of controlling the use of detergents is eliminated; the process of using chemistry, and with it resources (water, electricity), is optimized; and, finally, the washing result is “excellent” (subject to correctly selected chemical washing programs).

Professional washing systems allow you to achieve amazing results, reducing your costs and increasing the number of your grateful customers.
