The laundry process consists of the following stages:
1. Sorting dirty laundry by style/density and degree of contamination.
2. Washing.
3. Drying.
4. Finishing (ironing).
5. Sorting and folding laundry for storage.
Washing clothes in industrial washing machines.
Industrial washers/dryers, as opposed to domestic ones:
- Have a greater margin of safety - can work 8-20 hours in a row. When using a household machine in this mode, its service life is about a year. The service life of industrial machines is up to 25 years.
- Professional washing equipment has a short washing cycle : 40-60 min. (2-3 times shorter than the cycle of a regular household machine).
- Household machines used for industrial purposes are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty . Warranty for industrial machines ranges from a full 1-year warranty (free labor and parts) to a 2-3-year limited warranty (free parts only).
- The presence of a microprocessor and the use of professional detergent dispensers allows for significant savings in detergents, water and electricity.
- The drying cycle duration of industrial dryers is 1.5-2 times shorter than that of household dryers. The service life is the same as for washing machines.
The design of the machines with a high margin of safety is made of high-quality stainless steel. The service life of the machines is up to 25 years .
Installation features : soft installation on a flat floor (no need for a foundation).
Machines with sprung drum suspension, an engine with a speed inverter and an auto-balance system - all this can significantly reduce vibration.
However, DANUBE recommends that all machines be anchored to the floor.
Heating type: machines with electric heating element, hot water supply is possible, which saves electricity .
Spin speed . Washing machines with high-speed spin – up to 1000 rpm. The residual moisture of the laundry will be 50%, which shortens the drying cycle and saves electricity . The spin speed is adjusted depending on the program.
Microprocessor control.
The machines are equipped with a freely programmable microprocessor , which allows you to create the required number of programs for laundry (primarily according to the degree of soiling). In combination with the installed detergent dispenser, this means significant savings in detergents , water and electricity. This approach makes the machines easy to operate for staff (not only the cycle duration is programmed, but also the supply of detergents).
Duration of the washing cycle .
The average duration of washing is 40-60 minutes, which is about 8-9 loads per shift.
The duration of the cycle depends on the machine load (less loaded machines will perform more cycles), the degree of soiling of the laundry (the shortest is for lightly soiled laundry) and the selected temperature mode (washing with boiling - 1.5 hours).
Drying clothes in industrial dryers of the TD series
Drying of linen occurs due to circulation of hot air in a rotating drum.
Duration of drying cycle to 0% humidity up to 60 minutes, depending on humidity of loaded linen, on density of fabric.
- Drum made of stainless steel AISI 304.
- Microprocessor control .
- Beltless direct motor drive, reverse is installed - a system to prevent things from creasing.
- Cooling of items at the end of the drying cycle.
finishing (ironing)
Fashionable linen is ironed using finishing equipment - ironing tables , presses, steam mannequins.
Straight linen can be ironed with an ironing roller - at 25% residual humidity (15-20 minutes must be dried in a drying drum after washing in a machine with a spin of 1000 rpm) or with a drying and ironing roller - the laundry is fed to the calender immediately after washing in the machine with spin 1000 rpm. (at the same time, exceptional ironing quality is achieved).
