Why can't a dry cleaning machine replace a wet cleaning machine?_

Planning: Are you opening a dry cleaning business and want to invest only in dry cleaning machines?
Tip: There is no machine that can do everything. Choose a dry cleaning machine for 12-15 kg and complement it with a water cleaning complex (washing and drying machine for 10-13 kg).

Reality: Have you already purchased a good dry cleaning machine and as a supplement (a la aqua cleaning) use a household washing machine?

Advice: Do not make this mistake, because it has a too small drum, secondly, it does not allow changing program parameters (change cycle duration, spin mode, rinse at the same time). It is impossible to automate the supply of detergents in accordance with the desired program. The household machine is not suitable for professional use (including in aqua cleaning mode).

Benefit: Providing a full range of cleaning services and expanding the range of clients.

The Dry Cleaning system allows you to do more than just clean items that have traditionally been handled by dry cleaning machines.
You will be able to accept large, bulky items that need to be washed in water. Such as bedding, carpets, duvets, quilted jackets, sleeping bags, etc.
You can effectively clean workwear and textiles with specific stains.

Water cleaning is an environmentally friendly technology that allows high-quality dry cleaning in water at a temperature of 35°C. Water cleaning has a protective effect on thin fibers. Its main advantage is its absolute harmlessness to the environment and customer health, and the complete absence of residual solvent odor.

The need to develop a cleaning method in an aquatic environment was caused by several reasons, among them, first of all, the emergence of new materials used for the manufacture of clothing, many of which are not recommended for cleaning in perchlorethylene and regular washing.

Materials that are not recommended to be cleaned with perchlorethylene and regular washing.

  • raincoat fabrics with a film polymer coating on the front or back side;
  • special clothing treated with special impregnations (water-repellent, fire-retardant);
  • duplicate materials;
  • materials containing polyvinyl chloride fibers;
  • artificial astrakhan;
  • artificial suede;
  • wedding and evening dresses with solvent-resistant parts;
  • Faux leather trim;
  • fabrics with unstable coloring (for stage costumes, etc.);
  • soft stuffed toy, etc.

In addition, some types of products are characterized by insufficiently high quality of cleaning in PCE and washing using conventional technology.

Materials and products whose cleaning quality is higher using wet cleaning technology:

  • acetate and polyurethane fabrics;
  • natural silk, viscose;
  • denim;
  • baby clothes;
  • some types of genuine leather;
  • clothing insulated with down feathers;
  • pillows with synthetic filling.

One of the huge advantages of aqua cleaning over dry cleaning is the ability to wash down jackets, which are much more numerous than sheepskin coats and are washed more often. Down jacket fabrics contain a film that dissolves in perchloroethylene, so they can only be washed. Aqua cleaning systems allow this to be done perfectly.

According to experts, the quality of sheepskin coat processing using aqua technology surpasses traditional perchloroethylene cleaning. When processing leather and suede products, they become pleasant to the touch, their rich color returns, the color range is evened out, and natural fats are not washed out.

Contamination of products for the removal of which wet cleaning technology is preferable:

Organic water-soluble contaminants, cocoa, coffee, caramel, chocolate, chlorine, glue, deodorant, fruit, ice cream, felt-tip pen, dirt, ink, milk, liqueur, mayonnaise, jam, medicine, mold, tomato, lipstick, rust, blood, syrup , eggs, wine, etc.

In terms of the composition of contaminants, the wastewater from enterprises using aqua-cleaning generally corresponds to household waste and is discharged into the city sewerage system.

The aqua cleaning process includes four stages:

  • stain removal
  • wet wash
  • drying
  • treatment with special chemical detergents to prevent shrinkage and coloring of the product

Technology. The technology of aqua cleaning is based on the use of modern machines with built-in computers designed for full control of the cleaning process. Temperature, water level, active cleaning time, drum rotation speed and spin mode, supply time and amount of detergents - based on these parameters, cleaning programs are created, then the microprocessor is programmed.

Professional chemicals for aqua cleaning . The aqua cleaning technology uses water as a detergent in a composition with a complex of surface-active substances (SAS) specially developed for each of the three main groups of materials: textiles, leather and fur.

A set of water cleaning products:

  • anti-fouling agents, as well as special agents for protecting fibers (for wool products);
  • fattening and water-repellent preparations (for leather);
  • preparations that prevent dye fading (for products with fragile coloring).

In addition, the composition of the SMS includes finishing, antistatic and deodorizing agents.

The main advantages of water cleaning:

  • various water cleaning modes are distinguished by gentle parameters, regardless of the drugs used, equipment, type and composition of products;
  • some shrinkage of fabrics and leather (up to 2%) can be eliminated by wet-heat treatment;
  • in most cases, there is no need to touch up leather/suede products and fatliquoring (since the dye does not “break off” and natural fatliquoring substances are washed out to a lesser extent);
  • after aqua cleaning, products are not only clean and have a pleasant smell, but also retain their softness to the touch, brightness and color saturation;
  • for cleaning silk products and modern synthetic materials, products with special impregnations, the water cleaning process is more effective and safe;
  • when used correctly, it is preferable for delicate knitted items (wool, cashmere, etc.);
  • The presentation of most of the above products is significantly better than after cleaning in PCE.

AQUA CLEANING is an integral part of modern dry cleaning and laundry and allows to minimize possible risks associated with cleaning complex, delicate items
