Washing machines are the main equipment of any laundry, be it a commercial laundry or a laundry at an industrial facility. As a rule, other ( additional ) equipment is selected for the already formed set of washing machines.
Professional washing machines are usually divided into several main groups according to such characteristics as the type of heating of the washing solution, the degree of spinning, the type of control, the design of the suspension, etc.
Main types of professional washing machines
By heating type:
- gas
- electrical
- steam
By degree of spinning:
- without spinning (practically not used today, characterized by a residual humidity of more than 130%, requiring additional installation of centrifuges);
- with intermediate spin (characterized by high levels of residual humidity 90-130%);
- with increased spin (residual moisture 60-90%)
- with final spin (residual moisture indicator no more than 45%, do not require additional installation of centrifuges)
By control type:
- with manual control;
- with timer (semi-automatic);
- with electromechanical or electronic control (automatic);
- freely programmable (microprocessor control).
By suspension design:
- unsprung - with rigid suspension (requires anchor fastening to the floor);
- sprung - with suspension on shock absorbers (no fastening required).
By type of loading:
- frontal (most modern equipment);
- with side loading (a special type of equipment that allows you to separate the flow of laundry), the so-called barrier-type machines.
According to the value of centrifugal force during spinning:
- high-speed (G-factor 350, cotton moisture content 50%);
- low speed (G-factor 80, cotton humidity 80%).
